Sarvituoppo. (Hornstein)

This vintage green glass item is a Sarvituoppi (Hornstein), a collectible beer mug or stein designed by Sirkku Kumela-Lehtonen for Kumela in Riihimäki, Finland, during the 1960s or 1970s. It is handmade from emerald green glass with an applied clear glass handle, mimicking the style of traditional Sami horn cups. The item often features a “Kumela Riihimäki Made in Finland” sticker, as seen in the image. While designed as a stein for beverages, it is also frequently used as a decorative vase or bowl.
